This Policy explains how content published on petscrochet.com may and may not be used. By downloading, copying, sharing, or using PetsCrochet content, you agree to these rules.

1. Ownership

Unless a page states otherwise, the articles, crochet instructions, pattern text, PDF tutorials, charts, illustrations, page designs, photographs, edited images, graphics, logos, and other original materials on PetsCrochet are owned by Yassine Addoula or used with permission and are protected by applicable copyright and other intellectual-property laws.

PetsCrochet, the PetsCrochet logo, and associated brand elements may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, partnership, or endorsement without written permission.

2. Personal use of free patterns and PDFs

You may download or print one working copy of a free PetsCrochet pattern or PDF for your own personal, noncommercial use. You may make a reasonable backup copy for yourself.

You may not upload the file elsewhere, email copies to a group, place it in a shared download folder, sell it, remove branding, reproduce substantial sections, translate and publish it, or claim it as your own. Please send friends to the original PetsCrochet page so they can obtain their own copy.

3. Selling finished handmade items

Unless a specific pattern states otherwise, you may sell finished physical items that you personally crochet from a PetsCrochet pattern in small quantities.

Please credit the design with wording such as: “Pattern by PetsCrochet.com.” Credit should appear in an online listing or on a product tag where practical.

This permission does not allow mass production, factory production, production by a third party, sale of pattern instructions, or use of PetsCrochet photographs to advertise your finished item. You are responsible for the quality, labeling, safety, taxes, and legal compliance of anything you sell.

4. Sharing PetsCrochet content

You may

Share the direct link to a PetsCrochet article or download page.
Use Pinterest’s save or sharing tools to save an official PetsCrochet Pin.
Quote a brief excerpt for commentary, review, or news reporting where permitted by law, with clear credit and a direct link to the original page.
Share one credited image in a genuine editorial feature when the image links directly to the original PetsCrochet article and the full tutorial is not reproduced.

You may not

Copy or republish an article, pattern, tutorial, chart, PDF, image collection, or substantial portion of it on another website, app, social account, marketplace, newsletter, book, course, or file-sharing service.
Turn PetsCrochet content into a video, translation, pattern rewrite, printable, template, course, or derivative publication for distribution without written permission.
Remove a watermark, copyright notice, credit, link, or brand mark.
Frame, mirror, scrape, or systematically collect the site or its downloads.
Use PetsCrochet content, images, or downloads to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or build an artificial-intelligence model or dataset without prior written permission.
Use PetsCrochet branding, content, or images in a way that misleads people about the source, testing status, safety, sponsorship, or ownership of a project.

5. Photos of your finished projects

If you voluntarily send PetsCrochet a project photo, testimonial, or comment for possible publication, you keep ownership of your original material. You grant PetsCrochet a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to reproduce, crop, resize, and display that submitted material for the site and PetsCrochet social channels, together with the name or account handle you approve.

You confirm that you own the submitted material or have permission to share it, and that its use will not violate another person’s rights. You may ask us to stop future use by emailing us, although removal from previously distributed or cached material may not always be possible.

6. Third-party material

Brand names, linked patterns, quoted material, and other third-party content belong to their respective owners. A link or reference does not transfer ownership to PetsCrochet and does not necessarily imply endorsement.

7. Permission requests

For classroom use, commercial licensing, translation, publication, press use, bulk printing, or another use not clearly permitted above, email copyright@petscrochet.com. Describe the exact content, intended use, audience, format, territory, and duration.

8. Copyright concerns and takedown requests

PetsCrochet respects the rights of creators. If you believe material on the site infringes your copyright, email copyright@petscrochet.com with:

Your name and contact information.
A description of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
The exact PetsCrochet URL and a description of the disputed material.
A statement explaining your good-faith belief that the use is not authorized.
A statement that the information you provide is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for the rights holder.
Your physical or electronic signature.

We may request more information, remove or restrict access to material during review, and respond as appropriate under applicable law.

9. Pet safety and pattern status

PetsCrochet tutorials are general craft information, not veterinary advice or safety-equipment instructions. Decorative crochet collars and neck accessories are for supervised wear only. Crochet fabric must not be used as a load-bearing restraint, identification collar, walking collar, leash, harness substitute, or protective device.

For cats, any crochet cover or decoration must leave the function of a suitable breakaway collar fully intact. A concept image or prototype is not a tested pattern. Follow the testing status stated on each tutorial, check fit frequently, and remove an item at the first sign of discomfort or damage.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy when our content, licensing approach, or legal requirements change. The revision date at the top shows the latest version.
